![]() Still it's a very viable combo, though if you do go this route I strongly recommend taking Wild Adept for Degenerate to be able to kill shock resistant/immune foes with your otherwise mostly shock based army. Also forests benefit both Elves(happiness) and Archdruid(stealth) though this is mostly for multiplayer.Įlf Sorcerer is another classic yet somewhat reduntant combo, with both being heavy on the shock damage and the Storm Sisters already having inflict stun not needing the Sorcerer support unit for it. I dont agree but i see your point.Įlf Archdruid is the classic combo, with the Elf Hunter being the best variety and goes very well with the animal summons that make much better melee fighters than the Elf units, especially when evolving to their higher tier counterparts(all serpent and spider types). It also looks a tad silly to see 2 of them beating each other and both get panicked. Being able to be panicked is an important weakness. That aside, horrors don't have strong will - which is a weakness when in T4. Originally posted by Malaficus Shaikan:I disagree. It's got more damage, higher defense, and can use Call Lightning while being immune to both shock and spirit, the two of which combined countering all the utility from the horror. Also, wall crushing lets the rest of your army in, while the horror can only float in itself.ġ on 1, the horned god going to win very easily. In melee, the god hits harder and has a disabling inflict - for 2 turns, no less. Call Lightning can outrange defenders on the walls, disables, and suffers no obstacle penalty. In a fight, the larger breath of the Horror is good in field battles, but outclassed in siege. On roads and other terrain, it'll be faster with it's 36 MP vs 32. God gets free movement and swimming, so it's adventure map speed is as high as that of horrors, except on mountains. Horned God is better but due to Age of Magic they're gonna be outnumbered. Horned gods are good eldric horror is simply better.īoth make the other tier 4 look pafatich tho. I dont see a horned god outrunning an eldric horror. Otherwise the eldric horror has the better all around stats and skills. The only way i see a horned god defeating an eldric horror is if he manange's to entangle it. In a fight the eldric horror hits as hard if not harder then a horned god has the same or more health.īut more importantly a horned god doesnt have dominate(take over enemy) floating(ignore all terrian) both have an area of effect but the cone has a larger area.Īdd to that the eldric horror has a chance to fear anything it hit in melee.Īnd that is without the bonuses sorcerors give to there summons. The horned god get entangement, conjure lighting(that you cant use on its first turn) and at high level a boar summon. Eldritch Horror (as above, but you need to get in close) I disagree.Įldric horror's got floating, fearing, dominate, lighting cone(larger area of effect). Horned God (because they can fight any other t4 one on one, from afar)Ģ.
